Dust Collection Systems

Bag Filters & Bag Houses

Macon has hands on experience in manufacturing Bag filters specifically in compliance with ACGIH Standard.

  • The typical dust collector comprises of a filter element either a cartridge type or tubular bags, compressed air manifold, solenoid operated diaphragm valve and timer.
  • The dust extraction system in general comprises of a suction hood, ducting, blower, compressed air piping etc.

Types and Specifications

Capacity

  • For Cartridge Type Bag Filter- 50 cfm to 3000 cfm.
  • For Bag House bag Filter- 50 cfm to 50000 cfm.
  • Efficiency- 20gm/m3 to 10 mg/ m3

Advantages

  • Compact Design
  • Easy to Operate and Maintain.
  • Low power consumption.
  • Effective Use of Dust.
  • Long Reliability- As the selection of material is by highly Experienced and Professional Team.

Cyclone Seperator

  • A cyclone separator uses a form of inertia called centrifugal force typically to move air that is filled with dirt and dust through a vertical cylinder with a cone-shaped bottom.
  • The air moves very quickly as it enters the chamber at the top of the cylinder, creating a mini tornado.

Types of Cyclone Seperator designed by Macon

Various types of Cyclone Separators are-

  • Single cyclone separator.
  • Twin cyclone separator.
  • Multi Cyclone separator.

A combination of Cyclone separators & Bag Filters are designed for higher dust load conditions.
